In short
- The only personal details this site collects are the ones you type into the contact form.
- We use them only to reply to you about the working session you asked for.
- No analytics, no advertising or tracking tools, and no cookies of our own, so there is no cookie banner.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time.
Who we are
Fortress Cyber is a brand of Q Managed Services Ltd (company number TODO: company number), 7 Sigalit St., Netanya TODO: postal code, Israel. We decide how the details described here are used, so we are responsible for them: the data controller under the GDPR, and the owner of the database under Israeli law.
For anything about your privacy, write to TODO: privacy contact email.
What we collect
What you type into the contact form
- Your full name and work email. These two are needed so we can reply.
- Your company and what you would like to see. Both are optional.
No law requires you to give us these details, and you can simply email us instead. Without a name and an email address, though, we cannot answer you.
What is collected to keep the form free of spam
- Your IP address, to limit how many requests one source can send. It is held in our server's memory for at most ten minutes and is never written to storage.
- Technical signals read by Cloudflare Turnstile, the spam check on the form, such as your IP address and details of your browser. It tells people from bots without a puzzle, and it loads only once you start filling in the form.
What any web visit involves
When you open any page, our hosting provider handles standard technical data, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange the working session you asked for. Our legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the form and the site secure and free of spam, which is also a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your details, use them for advertising, or add you to a marketing list. We make no automated decisions about you.
Who handles it
A few providers handle your details for us, each only to run its part of the site and on our instructions:
- Cloudflare runs the Turnstile spam check (Turnstile privacy addendum).
- Vercel hosts the site and runs the code that receives the form (privacy notice).
- Mailtrap delivers what you send to our inbox as an email (privacy policy).
- Microsoft holds that email in our Microsoft 365 business mailbox (privacy statement).
Some of these providers work in the United States and other countries outside Israel. When your details are handled outside Israel, we rely on each provider's data processing terms to protect them as the law requires. We share your details with no one else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Your message stays in our mailbox for TODO: retention period, then we delete it. If you become a customer, your agreement with us takes over.
- Mailtrap keeps a copy of each email in its sending logs for TODO: Mailtrap log period on our plan.
- IP addresses for the spam limit: at most ten minutes, in memory only.
- The hosting provider's technical logs: a short time, for security and troubleshooting.
How we protect it
The form and the email travel over encrypted connections. The code that receives the form never writes your name, email address or message to its logs. Only the people who answer enquiries can open the mailbox.
Your rights
Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, including Amendment 13, and the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask us to:
- show you the details we hold about you;
- correct them if they are wrong or out of date;
- delete them;
- stop using them, or limit how we use them;
- give you a copy in a common format.
Write to TODO: privacy contact email, or by post to the address above. We answer within 30 days and may first ask you to confirm who you are. Using these rights costs nothing.
If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to Israel's Privacy Protection Authority or, in the European Union, to the data protection authority where you live or work.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and sets no cookies of its own. That is why there is no cookie banner. Our fonts are served from our own site, so no font service sees your visit.
A few small items are kept in your browser's own storage, never sent to us: your accessibility settings, if you change them, and the paused animation on the home page, if you pause it. If you use the contact form, Cloudflare's Turnstile check keeps one item of its own that it needs to tell people from bots. Our cookie policy lists each one, what it is for and how to remove it.
Children and changes
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top of the page.
